The 8 dimensions of wellness help to provide a clearer and more targeted systematic approach to employee wellness. Categorize and target individually the specific aspects of wellness required by each employee. Looking at the chart below may indicate that a large percent of ailments can be decreased or could be avoided with education and programmes aimed around diet, nutrition and lifestyle choices.

 

Ailments like cardiovascular, diabetes, liver, kidney dysfunction and respiratory disease could be greatly reduced with preventative measures, nutrition advice, education and lifestyle changes.

The goal of education is reduce the impact of chronic ailments, reduce hospital time and in short reduce the cost!

 

It is to provide a platform for employees to improve in all areas of their life, and assist those around them to improve in their lives too.
